9 Months....

My dearest Bug,

I spent 9 months waiting to meet you.

Now I have spent 9 months getting to know you. Your little diva attitude at moments. What makes you laugh. What every cry, or grunt, or smile means. What an amazing gift you are!

This month being DS Awareness month, I had a great idea. Why not write a post using the best pictures of you from the last nine months? So here I am...and here we go. :)

Down's Syndrome is....... beating the odds when the deck is stacked against you.

Down's Syndrome is.......a life overflowing with laughter.

Down's Syndrome is.......constant amazement.

 

Down's Syndrome is.......immense pride in our accomplishments.

Down's Syndrome is.......facing our worst fears and emerging better than ever.

 

Down's Syndrome is.......wearing our new scars like badges of honor.

Down's Syndrome is.......hugs and kisses.

 Down's Syndrome is....... a no holds barred, fearless, "I can take on the world" attitude.

 Down's Syndrome is.......breathtakingly beautiful.
