Inspiration Through Art

As a relatively new member of the DS community, I learn a whole lot from just paying attention to things other mamas post. Not long ago, a proud mom posted some absolutely gorgeous photos of her daughter and among the comments, she mentioned a program I had never heard of called Inspiration Through Art. 

I was curious, so I looked into it. 

This is a nationwide program. You fill out an application for your child who has overcome some sort of difficulty (typically a disability or medical problem). If your child is chosen, you choose a photographer in your area from their list, contact them and set an appointment for pictures. The photographers come and take these pictures..for FREE to the families. 

Yesterday was Liddy's photo shoot with Sarah Kriner Photography . Can I just say...OH MY GOSH! She did an amazing job! Look for Liddy's picture at a later date on ITA's Wall of Heroes. :)
