“If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together.. there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart.. I'll always be with you.”
~A.A. Milne, from "Winnie the Pooh"

Surgery Update 1

Surgery is set for 8:45 this morning. We will check in at 7:15, spend a little time with her, and then hand her over for what I am sure will be the six longest hours of my life.
Yesterday, she was such a cheery girl. Full of smiles, raspberries (including a few carrot ones that gave both of us a bath in orangey goo!), and chatter to anyone who would hold still long enough. I'm glad that she doesn't know what is coming very soon.....
We will get updates on her condition and what is happening in the OR every hour. Its probably not feasible that I update here every time we get one, but I will for sure update just as often as I can.....
And again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for every single thought, prayer and kind word. :)
Much love to you all,
Heidi
